field day
rules & breakdown
intro:
signup:
beginning at 2:30pm; please arrive at this time to ensure we all can start on time at 3pm.
12 teams total in the field day.
Each team will be made up of 4 players (1+ must be female).
Each team will get their own color jersey.
each player will draw a number (1, 2, 3, and 4) on the jersey, that will be used later (all players will have a different number).
Drinking and food:
we will have an alcohol permit and loud noise permit from the city. this allows us to consume only beer and wine inside the pavilion area. open-intox is not allowed outside the pavilion area, it is recommended that you bring a water bottle or other container so you can stay hydrated when playing in the field.
we will also have food at the park - burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. there will be some time in-between events or during events with multiple 'heats', this is the best time to grab a bite to eat (or wait till afterwards). we have a lot scheduled so please make sure you are ready for the next event that you and your team are a part of.
Staff:
we will have music playing and plenty of staff on hand, there will be an mc, photographer, several referees, plus other staff helping with registration and helping things run smoothly throughout the event. plenty of people around to answer any questions.
awards:
Stick around afterwards to hang out with the group, have some more drinks, and view the award ceremony.
sidenote:
there are some surprises purposefully left out of this description, but below you will find the bulk of the info.
