Elizabeth 'lizzy' powers -

It's fair to say that without Lizzy Powers, GR Rec Sports wouldn't be where it is today.

A true O.G. of GR Rec Sports, Lizzy captained seven of the very first teams in league history, helping lay the foundation for the community we've become today.

Lizzy's impact goes far beyond wins and losses as she helped inspire two of our now most prestigious awards, becoming the first-ever recipient of both the 'Most Social Player' and the legendary 'Golden Toilet' badge. Two awards that perfectly capture what GR Rec Sports is all about: having fun, making memories, and never taking yourself too seriously.

While Lizzy did earn a championship as captain during our Family Feud tournament, her Hall of Fame induction is about something much bigger than trophies.

With her infectious laugh, encouraging coaching style, and unmatched social spirit, Lizzy helped set the standard for what it means to be a GR Rec Sports player. She didn't just participate in our leagues — she helped shape their identity.

As our very first Hall of Fame inductee, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Powers will forever be remembered as one of the original personalities who helped make GR Rec Sports more than just sports.

Congratulations, Lizzy. Welcome to the Hall of Fame! 🏆

danielle flynn 'the dynasty queen' -

Danielle Flynn made her mark early in GR Rec Sports history, becoming a cornerstone of our first-ever dynasty and winning an astonishing six-consecutive competitive kickball championships — a record that still stands today!

the starting shortstop for the legendary One Kick Wonders, Danielle was also one of the first eight female players in GR Rec Sports history to earn All-Star honors, cementing her legacy as one of the league's original standout athletes and born winners.

Alongside her husband and team captain, Austin Flynn, Danielle helped build a championship dynasty that set the standard and forever changed the landscape of Wednesday night competitive kickball in the city of grand rapids.

But after years of defending titles and making history on the field, Danielle traded in her cleats for an even greater adventure — motherhood. Stepping away from her starting shortstop role, Danielle began a new chapter raising her son, Aiden.

While her playing days may be behind her, her legacy at GR Rec Sports is here to stay. With her warm smile, kind heart, and championship spirit, we have no doubt she'll bring that same greatness to her most important role yet.

As a six-time consecutive champion, an original All-Star, and a key member of GR Rec Sports' first dynasty, Danielle Flynn has earned her rightful place among our greatest players of all time.

Congratulations, Danielle. Welcome to the Hall of Fame! 🏆
